Debbie and Laura clearly had a lot of fun picking the fabrics for this week's Summer Spectacular bundle. The variety is pretty impressive -- it ranges from our Formal Whitest Hemp Silk (great for everything from wedding dresses to eye pillows) to Natural/Charcoal Stripe (which looks marvelous turned into classy, sporty, and even baby clothes!). In the middle, you'll also find pieces of our Waverine Interlock, Comfy White Paisley Pizazz, and Tickled Pink. The variety of items that could be made with these fabrics is pretty impressive, don't you think? Oh, and they'll also add a yard of lace, a spool of thread, and a few buttons! Isn't this a sweet little top? Karrie made it for the baby she's expecting in December; she writes:
"I used NearSea Naturals smoky teal fine rib knit for the binding and medium natural interlock for the shirt body. This is from the Sew Liberated envelope tee pattern (size 0-6 months).
The pattern was great, very straightforward and the shirt came together very quickly. I love working with your fabrics, I can't say enough about the quality. Every time I work with your fabrics, I feel as though the quality of my work rises to a new level. I'll be a lifelong customer!"
Note: Our Smoky Teal Fine Rib Knit is out of stock, though the jersey is still available. We have many other rib knits that would work well for binding, though. The medium natural interlock is a wonderfully multipurpose fabric that works as well for baby clothes as it does for adult PJs, camisoles, and more.

this week Laura and Debbie gathered a collection of wonderful wovens.
Summer Rainstorm and Autumn Grass come from our collection of fabrics
made from colorgrown cotton, while Light Green Twill matches our Let It Grow Wide
Twill and is also delightful alone. Our Softest Sheeting and Light
Rich Flannel are incredibly multipurpose fabrics -- great for

Do you love sewing with knits? Tara does, which is why she wishes she
could win this week's Summer Spectacular fabric package. Laura is still
somewhat intimidated by knits; she'd love these fabrics because they'd
give her a chance to practice more. Sadly, Tara and Laura aren't

I think Debbie, Laura, and Tim must've been hungry when putting together
