How exciting! We can't stop imagining the fun things we want to make with this hemp/organic cotton corduroy. It's a sturdy fabric, and so very multipurpose. (Begin with the obvious pants and jackets, branching out into baby clothes, throw pillows, purses, and skirts. Don't stop there -- you're just getting started!) If you like other colors, this low-wale fabric dyes beautifully ... you could have a whole rainbow of organic corduroys to work with, just in time for cooler weather. Made in China, from organically-grown cotton that's processed in an environmentally- and socially-aware facility.

This corduroy replaces our Natural Corduroy, item 1305; it is wider (56" vs 45") and only minimally more expensive. At 14.2 ounces per linear yard, this fabric weighs about 9 ounces per square yard.
