It's a sleeper, though, and you have to give it a fair chance to grow on you. Somewhat nondescript at first, it changes dramatically upon washing. It develops a beautiful texture and a wonderful, broken-in softness that invites you to snuggle up in both physical and emotional comfort. (We would have called it Sage Smudge, but there was always the chance that people would think we were talking about a dirt spot instead of a smudge stick -- not quite as appealing for a fabric!)
