This fabric's as indispensable as brown sugar in your pantry, and you can create some marvelous things with it. You'll love the sets of two 7/8" wide ColorGrown brown stripes, with a 1/2" natural stripe in-between them, separated by about 1 3/4" of natural fabric. The fabric has an almost antique feel, almost like you'd expect to find it in Grandma's fabric stash or backing a quilt she made when she was young. Although you can easily iron it, I prefer the look of this material when it's slightly wrinkled; it just looks more natural and old fashioned.

Splendid for clothing, of course -- jackets, pants, skirts, shirts, and the like. It's also marvelous for home decor; a room with curtains, a tablecloth, and some pillow covers out of Brown Sugar Stripe would look absolutely splendid!

At 12.4 ounces per linear yard, the fabric weighs 7.4 ounces per square yard. Stripes run selvage to selvage.
