This fabric absolutely grabs some people, who can't take their eyes off the fun dots (ranging from 1/2" to 1 3/4" in diameter) sprinkled on a poppy red jersey background. With minimal stretch (like most jerseys), it's such a great fabric for many different uses.

I've recently been introduced to the joys of button-down shirts made from jersey fabrics. It'd take a brave man to wear a bright red polka dot shirt, but I actually know quite a few men who fit that description and who would look absolutely splendid in one. Katrina hopes to make a gored dancing skirt combining this and the Cloudy Gray Dynasty West Dots Jersey. Baby blankets and other baby items are a natural (and imagine how popular two-layer baby blankets would be, with one layer using the dots and another more subdued layer on the other side), and kids gravitate towards this fabric like you wouldn't believe...

I also really like the reverse side of the fabric -- I think it's a great look, and that's why I included a picture. Imagine combining the two sides for some real visual interest.

This is a fairly large-scale print that's hard to see in a picture, but the dots together create a wonderfully cheerful atmosphere ... especially on the poppy red background! At 6.8 ounces per linear yard, the fabric is 4.4 ounces per square yard.
