At 94" wide, the length is determined by how many yards you order -- we'll make every effort to keep up to four-yard orders in unbroken cuts. The batting works wonderfully for hand and machine quilters, and can be quilted up to 4 inches apart.

Averaging 1/8 inch thick, it will shrink approximately 5% when washed, giving the characteristics of an antique quilt. (Obviously, you'll want to quilt before washing to achieve this desired puckered look.) Welcome a new baby to the world with a quilt lightly padded with this exceptionally-soft batting. Babies are pure and perfect; shouldn't their bedding be also? This batting is great for art quilting as well as everyday bedding for every single member of your very lucky family.

Any leftover pieces work wonderfully as stuffing for small toys and other goodies, of course; nothing needs to be wasted.
