Splendidly deep purple, this jersey is almost intoxicating! It's thin enough that you can wear it in the spring and summer, yet substantial enough for an inner layer to provide extra warmth and comfort during the chilly parts of the year.

With such a glorious color, this fabric makes absolutely lovely knit skirts, shirts, dresses, baby gowns and blankets, and so much more. Little girls, so many of whom have a fixation on the color purple, seem to particularly enjoy this fabric, and it's a nice fabric to sew ... between 25 and 35% stretch gives you extra comfort and a bit of forgiveness in both creation and wear.

At 9.8 ounces per linear yard, the fabric is 5.6 ounces per square yard. It matches our Creme de Cassis Spandex for added versatility.
