I'm just loving this fabulous lightweight fabric! The colors work together wonderfully -- russet red, light brown, taupe, and mint green threads all combine to create a spectacular plaid.

Perfect for the whole family, I want to make a shirt for Grandpa Bob, a dress for my favorite toddler, a lightly tailored blazer for my stepmom to wear to work, and so much more. It's also grand for home dec and crafts projects -- marvelous curtains, tablecloths, and the like.

At 3.2 ounces per square yard, it is a very lightweight fabric.

Woven in China using Organic Cotton grown in Turkey, dyed using low-impact fiber-reactive dyes. We didn't have this fabric made especially for us -- it's too big of a carbon footprint for us to be comfortable with. (That's too much of a preposition at the end of a sentence for me to be comfortable with, too.) We purchased the unused portion of a huge run for a large company, knowing that the farmers and workers were treated and compensated well at all stages of production and that the fabric was already made and in the States.

This is a limited-edition fabric; once it's gone, we're not getting any more.
