Absolutely fabulous (where have I heard that before? oh yeah!), this splendid wool interlock is, of all things, machine washable. No more hand-washing, no more searching out an eco-friendly drycleaner, no more wearing your clothes until they develop a distinct patina of age and then telling people "it's supposed to look like that." These fabrics you can just put in the washer and enjoy the benefits of modern technology!

I love the light grey color -- it's the same shade as our sky just before a snowstorm, as the world prepares for some real weather. Gorgeous in so many applications -- shirts, dresses (slinky and sexy clothes, too!), and so much more!

Machine wash, using cold water, and expect minimal to no shrinking. Hang drying is recommended (though we've had reports of people using a heat-free machine cycle with no ill effects, can you believe it?).

The organic merino wool is from Australia and the fabric is knit in a small, socially-responsible, Fair-Trade Certified boutique factory in China, where employees are both treated and compensated fairly.
