Originally designed for baby linens (hence the measurements, which are perfect for a bedskirt), but we think the fabric's splendid for many, many other purposes! See the picture the fabric draped as a skirt -- isn't it gorgeous? And so easy to make, too! It'd be a great apron, or capris, or a summer crop top, or...
The fabric comes by the yard, of course; each yard has two strips of grass-with-birds-and-flowers approximately 5.5 inches from the selvage. This strip, horizontal to the selvage, is approximately 8.5 inches wide; the strips are separated by approximately 30 inches of unprinted material. When used as a crib bedskirt, you'll end up with a gorgeous decorative grassy strip at the edge and the majority of the unprinted part will be under the mattress.
Printed on a woven organic cotton twill fabric. If you're using this material for production purposes and would find it more useful to have more print and less blank (like in the small picture), we can arrange for that too. Why would you want that? This design can be used for marvelous appliques; it makes splendid purses (and diaper bags too, if you must let little ones near it :); it's great for playmats and stuffed toys; it's nice for pillows, curtains, window valances, and so very much more.

Choose between cornflower blue and pansy pink for your bird color when ordering the fabric.
Buying a swatch will get you a piece of each fabric within the design style. The fabric, while printed in the US, is woven in China.
