Ooooh, I love this sheeting! The percale fabric is brushed for extra softness, so it's almost like a flannel -- much cozier than a plain sateen. It's woven and finished in the United States, using certified organic cotton grown in Texas, and turned into a splendidly glorious wide-width sheeting. Don't forget that the wide width means it's like getting two yards for the price of one!

This fabric was woven just for us, because we are determined to offer US-woven organic sheeting that is both high-quality and affordable. We're thrilled with the finished product, and we know you will be too.

Oh, and don't let the name fool you -- while this fabric does indeed make marvelous sheets (and duvet covers, pillowcases, curtains, and the like), it's also sensational for shirts (especially those so-hard-to-find organic formal shirts for men), nightgowns, skirts, pants, light blazers, and so much more. You'll love it for crafts, too -- quilting, backing other projects (potholders and the like), making doll clothes, etc.

At 14.8 ounces per linear yard, the fabric weighs 4.4 ounces per square yard.

Please note that at about every 2 yards there is a dime-sized subtle medium-dark colored stain approximately 38" from the selvage and the price reflects this flaw.
