Soft organic cotton stuffing and batting for so many uses -- pillows, stuffed animals, dolls, potholders, etc. This cotton has been cleaned and carded and is a very high quality stuffing/batting; you'll find few inclusions and will enjoy working with it. It's a much more consistent stuffing than our Organic Cotton Stuffing -- Futon Grade.

Cotton fibers tends to harden and compact over time, which can be desirable in certain applications (reading pillows comes immediately to mind). Some of the finest (and most expensive) pillows available combine an organic cotton core and an organic wool outer for a soft, warm, flame-resistant cushion of comfort.

We may contact you for additional shipping fees to cover the costs of sending orders of over five pounds, as the cotton is so bulky that it requires additional postage due to the oversized box.

This US-grown cotton is processed into 54 inch wide batts that are approximately 1-2 inches thick; from these batts we cut off the weight you've ordered. (Though each batch of cotton varies, 1 pound is approximately 3/4 of a yard.) You can use the cotton as batting or as stuffing -- it works wonderfully for both purposes.
