Prized for its natural antibacterial and flame-retardant properties, use this organic wool stuffing in luxuriously-soft pillows, traditional Waldorf-style dolls and soft toys, and in potholders and scented hotpads (stuff a cloth envelope with organic wool and either dried lavender or some essential oils). Free of the phosphates, synthetics, harsh detergents, pesticides, etc, found in conventional woolen products, many people who thought they were allergic to wool are able to tolerate organic wool because of its exceptional purity.

No chemicals or soaps harmful to the environment, the wool, or the wearer are used in the processing. Occasional organic inclusions highlight the natural qualities of this pure wool without detracting from its beauty.

Shown in the photo is one pound of wool. Expect to find multiple pieces adding up to your specified weight. Due to the oversized packaging necessary to ship our stuffing, additional postage is sometimes necessary for orders over five pounds and we will contact you with the precise amount before sending your shipment.

Hand-washing or dry-cleaning is recommended (we, of course, tend to favor the former); do not machine-dry unless you want to felt the wool.

This wool stuffing can also be used needle-felting and wet-felting. The oh-so-fun baby polar bear (named Miki, which means "little" in Inuit) and pig pictured were needle-felted by Leah, of Leah's Organic Originals, using this wool; you may remember seeing Leah's beautiful organic baby set featured in our blog last year.
