This kit combines the Kids' Tipi Pattern with a bit more than four yards of our Doodle upholstery-weight ColorGrown organic cotton fabric. The fabric normally sells for $15+/yard, so this is an incredible savings -- but we love the idea of a tipi for every child, so we're doing our part to make it possible. The fabric is reversible, so you can choose which side to face out. The pattern calls for PVC pipe topped with crutch tips for the poles; if you prefer not to use PVC (for environmental or other reasons), lightweight wood poles will also work. (We used 6-foot bamboo poles from the local garden shop, holding the tops together with rubber bands.)
