Our resident three-year-old calls these "pockeeeet pants" and asks for them every morning. We're never sure what we'll find in the wash, though! The deep pockets go all the way down to the cuff in this fun pattern. Good for most wovens as well as some heavier knits (velour, etc); we made a beautiful pair from Sage Oxford with Natural Rib Knit as the ribbing. If your child's out of diapers you may need to adjust the pattern a little to reflect their reduced bottom bulk; we did, and it was quite easy.
