Instructions and Ideas : Carefully-chosen sewing patterns : Little People's patterns

Little People Collection

An international collection, featuring eight patterns and a variety of optional handwork techniques. Dress your sweeties up in a Japanese Kintaro, Mexican Dress and Baby Shirt, Korean Booties, Nepali Chupa, Moroccan Djellaba, or Turkish Tunic and Bloomers. Great for dressup and Halloween costumes, but also wonderful for special occasions, giving a nod to your cultural heritage, and even as beach wear (the djellaba makes a great post-swim robe!).

Suggested fabrics for this pattern, Folkwear 109: Light to medium-weight cottons such as broadcloth, batiste, muslin, corduroy, or flannel.

Sizes infant to 4T. For yardage and notions for styles 1-4, click here; click here for styles 5-8.

Since the 1970s, Folkwear patterns have been used by theatre and dance costumers, historic reenactors, art-to-wear-aficionados, and anyone who enjoys dressing up. Folkwear patterns are based on vintage fashions and traditional ethnic garments for an authentic look. But with a fresh eye and creative touch, these timeless styles can become exciting and trend-setting wearable art today.

Made in the US.
