Perfect for both everyday and special occasions, the bias cut gives a slimming, fluid silhouette. Quick and easy to make, it is ankle-length and has a softly-fitted elastic waist. Suggested for light- to medium-weight woven fabrics like crepe, charmeuse, chiffon, and challis. All sizes require 2 5/8 yards of 60" wide fabric, but that does not allow for shrinkage or matching. If you want to lengthen the skirt, you'll need more fabric. You'll need 3/8" elastic 5 inches less than your waist measurement.
Petite Plus Patterns are designed for the full-figured petite woman, with narrow shoulders, a full bust, a short waist length, and a rounded tummy. The patterns generally include sizes 14-24, and the sizing chart can be seen here. Shirt and jacket patterns include the Perfect Fit Guide (tm), which provides "Extra fitting help for a perfect custom fit."
