If you love sewing for little people, you'll appreciate this fun pattern. The stuffed bunny is absolutely adorable, good for a springtime, Easter basket, or new baby gift; the teddy bear will bring a smile to anyone's face, young or old. The blanket bear is a cute solution to the age-old search for a "security blanket" that doesn't look absolutely awful, and the blanket itself will keep Baby cozy warm. None of the items requires more than a yard of fabric.
STUFFED BUNNY
The bunny is 18" (46 cm) long and designed for stretch knits only such as robe velour, stretch terry, velour or PolarfleeceŽ.
TEDDY BEAR
This flat teddy bear is 15" (38 cm) tall and it is stuffed. It is designed for faux fur or PolarfleeceŽ.
BEAR "BLANKET"
The Bear "blanket" is 20" (51 cm) long from the neck to the bottom edge. The head and arms are stuffed with polyester filling and the bottom edge is finished with a binding made from contrast fabric. It is designed for firm knit fabrics such as PolarfleeceŽ, sweatshirt fleece or blanket fleece. We suggest using a lightweight woven fabric such as charmeuse or satin for the binding.
BLANKET
The finished blanket measures 30" x 40" (76 cm x 102 cm). It is designed for soft woven and firm knit fabrics such as sweatshirt fleece, PolarfleeceŽ, blanket fleece or flannel. All of the outside edges are finished with bias tape.
