1940's Apron from Val's Kitchen

How cute is this?! The heart-shaped pocket on this apron can make you smile on even the grumpiest of days, and you'll definitely appreciate the full frontal coverage when cooking messy meals. (Spaghetti sauce always requires an apron around here, for some reason...) There's a separate neck piece that doesn't tie (it does tie around the waist), and the edges are finished with bias tape. The apron requires just a bit more than one yard of fabric (1 1/8 yard, to be exact). Such fun, easy to make, and oh-so-retro!
Made in the US.
