Knit Sleepy Soaker Sack Pattern

So wonderful for the littlest babies, this knit pull-on diaper soaker sack will make nighttime changing much easier. Instead of having to pull down a soaker or unfasten a wrap, simply lift the sack up from the bottom, change baby’s diaper, then pull it back down over baby’s legs – keeping baby warm and the bed dry. Sized for preemie and newborn/small. It is knit in the round with worsted weight, 100 percent wool yarn and features 1x1 ribbing in the waist and at the bottom, and an optional drawstring. The optional Curly-Purly Waistband is also included, and it's pictured on the model to the left.

Materials needed:
Chunky weight, 100 percent wool yarn
12” #10 circular needle
16” #6 circular needle
Set of #6 double-pointed needles
Stitch marker
Size I crochet hook (optional for drawstring)

The soaker shown is worn by a 14-pound, 4-weeks-old baby girl.

Please note that like our other pattern offerings, this is an actual paper pattern which we will mail to you, not a .pdf to download.

Made in the US.
