Not picked quite as clean as our other organic cotton stuffing, this is what many futon companies use to make the splendid organic futons that we see advertised in so many publications. Now you can make your own, or use the stuffing to fill pillows, stuffed animals, potholders, or anything else. Made in Texas from Texas-grown organic cotton.

Cotton stuffing tends to harden over time, which can be desirable in certain applications (reading pillows comes immediately to mind). Some of the finest (and most expensive) pillows available combine an organic cotton core and an organic wool outer for a soft, warm, flame-resistant cushion of comfort.

Sold by the pound. The images show some of the inclusions, but they also show how fluffy and very usable the stuffing is -- don't make the mistake of assuming that a few bits of organic cotton plant will mean that you won't want to work with this stuffing! It's a great price for an entirely functional product.

We may contact you for additional shipping fees to cover the costs of sending orders of over five pounds, as the cotton is so bulky that it requires additional postage due to the oversized box.

The images with the yardsticks show a single pound of the stuffing.

Additional information: This organic cotton stuffing is fashioned in 80" x 80" x 2" (King sized) batts and each batt weighs approximately 5-7 pounds. We cut these batts up and sell by the pound, but if you would like an entire batt, please order 7 pounds and note in the comments field "Please send one entire batt with permission to charge for the correct weight of one batt." and we can do this for you. (We will of course adjust your invoice for the correct weight and shipping costs.)
