They feel like ivory, without harming any elephants, and this particular style reminds me of a worry stone -- I don't want to stop touching it. It's 15 mm long (almost .6", or 24 Ligne), and it looks just splendid almost anywhere you can imagine using it. Seriously one of my favorite buttons, and at this price how can you resist?
