Snap tape makes sewing so much easier -- no longer will you have to worry about matching up spacing for each and every snap, button, or tie when sewing shoulder or crotch closures for your little ones. And think about it -- when lap shoulders get boring or you simply want a bit of variation in your child's wardrobe, wouldn't it be marvelous to have a simple-to-use snap alternative? It's so incredibly easy to use, too -- especially when compared to all the alternatives I've tried in the past!

Consider using this snap tape to fasten rompers and sleepers for your recently-mobile little ones, cloth diapers (it's not so great for diaper covers unless you come up with a good way to deal with the wicking you'll experience with organic cotton), and other toddler goodies. Do plan to reinforce the stitching when fastening diapers and the like, though, as you'll be opening and closing them frequently and you really won't want the tape to come off!

It may be (and probably is) proof that I can be a very lazy mother, but I use and recommend snap tape for kids until they reach an age when they come right out and refuse to let me use it any longer. It's especially great on the shoulders of sweaters, where you want a nice tight crew neck but need a way to get the garment over your child's head without a major screaming fit! Perfect for crafts too -- A couple of snaps can close a lunch bag or a pocket in your purse, fasten doll clothes (especially the ones you make in a big hurry because Dolly just HAS to have a certain outfit immediately and you don't necessarily have the time or inclination to make it right .. but you do have scissors, snap tape, a needle, and thread), make very avant-garde napkin rings, etc. Great for pillows, slipcovers, curtains and drapes, other home decor projects, and much more.

This snap tape is manufactured in the United States on natural-colored 3/4-inch-wide US-woven organic cotton twill tape with nickel-free brass snaps on a 1.5-inch center. Also consider dyeing it to suit your needs. This size is generally used for toddler outfits and crafts -- the snaps are larger and spaced wider than with our Smaller (Baby) Organic Cotton Snap Tape. It is washable, of course -- it'd be much less useful if it weren't!

The toddler-sized snap tape is sold by the foot, with eight snaps per foot. If you order more than one foot, it'll come all in one piece.
