Stylish, flattering, and quick to sew, the Schoolhouse Tunic is a versatile addition to your wardrobe. Make the tunic-length to wear as a dress or over jeans, or make a shirt-length version.
The Schoolhouse Tunic features front and back pleats, 3/4-length sleeves with optional elastic gathering at the cuff, and an open bodice perfect for layering over your favorite camisole or tank.
The pattern includes instructions, assembly diagrams, and full-size pattern pieces for Women's sizes 2-20.
You'll want Swedish Tracing Paper or Kwik Trace Cloth to trace the pieces on, so you don't cut the actual pattern.
The fabric should be at least 44-45" wide, with a nice drape; the tunic requires 2 7/8 yards of lightweight cotton or linen fabric, while the shirt-length version calls for 2 3/8 yards. The optional elastic cuffs call for 1/2 yard of 1/4" elastic.
This is Sew Liberated Pattern #106; it is designed by a work-at-home mom and printed in the United States.
