The 1928 One-Yard Bias-Cut "Flapper" Apron is one of our most popular patterns, because it's so darn cute (and very fabric-frugal too). Wonderful for your own use, but don't discount its usefulness as a marvelous gift. (Housewarmings all need new aprons, and matching aprons are a great wedding present particularly as they don't make any assumption about who in the couple would be doing the cooking and cleaning!) The pattern includes one size that fits almost all adults, and one that fits most children (though it can need adjusting/bunching up at the waistline for the youngest ones).

The Paisley kit contains one yard each of our Perfect Paisley Colorgrown Green and Sage Smoke fabrics along with the pattern; the Green Stripe kit includes one yard of Light Green Gingham Stripe Chambray and one yard of Sage Smoke along with the pattern. That's enough fabric to make two full-sized adult aprons (one from each fabric), one adult and one child apron, or one fully-lined adult apron. You can either use a fold-over hem, purchased bias tape, or make your own bias tape -- a bit time-intensive, but absolutely beautiful and our choice for these aprons. (There's enough fabric included to make the bias tape; we're not just taunting you with the idea!)
