The best sock we've found for people with acute skin sensitivities, these socks are made from 99.8% certified organic cotton. The remaining .2% is Lycra, and it's at the very top of the sock only; you could technically cut the Lycra out though it would then mean the sock would fall down around your ankles. Still, if your sensitivities are so bad that even the little bit of Lycra affects you, removing it might be the best option.

This sock has a looser fit than most socks (due, of course, to the fact that there's no nylon and so very little lycra), so do pay attention to the sizing when ordering. Small is sized for a woman's shoe 5-7.5; medium is sized for a woman's 8-10 and a man's 4-8; large is sized for a woman's 10-11.5 and a man's 8-10; extra-large is sized for a woman's size 12-13 and a man's size 10-13.
