Marylou describes the rib fabric as "good for any body-conscious design and fit, because the fabric has recovery without the element of lycra. It's one of my favorite fabrics to work with because you can tailor it, but it's also very comfortable and easy to wear and design." With approximately 55% stretch, it's wonderful for clothing the whole family, from slinky skirts to baby kimonos and everything in-between.

You'll find this material a much-needed addition to so many wardrobes. The intense hue is perfect for fall and winter wear while also adding an unexpected touch of color during the other seasons. It layers splendidly, too.

As with all of our dyed fabrics, this gorgeous choice is colored using low-impact fiber-reactive dyes. It's tubular, so the fabric measures about 28.5" wide if left uncut or 56" wide when cut open. The fabric weighs about 7.5 ounces/square yard.
