Almost bloodred but not as harsh, this warm red has undertones of blue and works year-round. It flatters almost all skin and hair colors. This is a gorgeous fabric either alone or when paired with other fabrics in the ML Marsh Collection: Organic Designer Fabrics, Winter 2011.

Designer Marylou Marsh specifically chose this interlock, saying: "Because it has the same finish on both sides, you can work it like a rib, though it is very soft. It has the stretch of rib, with the look of jersey. Soft and comfy, it is a mainstay for baby clothes and blankets, pullovers, dresses, and skirts. It's a staple fabric." Medium-weight and oh-so-useful, this is a great fabric for autumn wear, infant clothing, slip-on tops, skirts, casual pants, and so much more.

At approximately 10.8 ounces per linear yard, the fabric is about 6.5 ounces per square yard. There's around 35% stretch.

You'll find this material a much-needed addition to so many wardrobes. The intense hue is perfect for fall and winter wear while also adding an unexpected touch of color during the other seasons. It layers splendidly, too.

As with all of our dyed fabrics, this one is colored using low-impact fiber-reactive dyes.
