Quite possibly our most cheerful fabric, there are so many different flowers represented on this fun sateen. Butterflies dance on a white background between rows of flowers, and I just can't help but smile when looking at it.
Designed by Harmony Susalla, who works with organics because of a firm social and environmental consciousness, this wonderful fabric is so very multi-purpose. The 233-thread count and wide width mean you'll love it for bedding and interior decorating (excellent curtains!), but you might want to see these bright flowers popping up all over the place.
The flowers range from about 1.5 to 5" tall. The white spaces between the rows alternate between wide (~6") and narrow (~3"). Intermittent butterflies decorate these white rows. I envision so many wonderful creations using individual flower rows to edge the bottom of an apron or a skirt, make a printed pocket on an otherwise plain dress, make pillowcases to coordinate with white sheets, create beautiful squares on a quilt, etc. The powder blue leaves match several of the other Harmony Art fabrics (our Morning Dew for instance);the scarlet matches our Scarlet Wide-Width Sateen. Harmony really thinks these things through!
The fabric is made of 100% organic cotton grown, woven, and printed in India in a GOTS-certified facility. It weighs approximately 4.4 ounces/square yard.
