The fabric is reversible, too - combining the smooth and the loopy sides can add another layer of interest. (We saw a beautiful woman's jacket made of French terry with the loops on the outside except for a fold-over collar and the pockets. So casually sophisticated!) This is a marvelous choice for baby clothes and accessories, including blankets, hats, gowns and diapers, and for kids' active wear. It's excellent for adult athletic items, casual attire, and nightwear.

Colored using low-impact, fiber-reactive dyes, as always. The fabric weighs 8.5 per square yard and 14.2 ounces per linear yard. It's knit in the US (from American-grown cotton).
