We love the heavier weight and opaqueness of this substantial fabric; it lends itself so nicely to form-fitting attire like leggings, leotards, and shelf-bra camisoles. I personally can't live without "hanging around the house" camis in a variety of colors, and this jersey is excellent for them. Gorgeous either alone or when paired with our matching Flemish Blue Medium Jersey, Flemish Blue Rib, Flemish Blue French Terry, and Flemish Blue Heavy Fleece, you'll find so many uses for this wonderful fabric.

Ten percent spandex provides both stretch and an excellent rebound, making the material perfect for yoga pants, lingerie (bras, including nursing bras, aren't too hard to make, and panties can be downright easy), long johns, baby and toddler sleep or playwear (though of course it's strongly recommended that infant sleepwear be flame-retardant or close-fitting), etc. Because this fabric has great recovery, you'll find it an excellent choice for waistbands!

At 14.2 ounces per linear yard, the fabric weighs 9.4 oz./square yard. Knit in the US from American-grown cotton, and dyed with low-impact, fiber-reactive dyes.
